Blue Water Pool & Repair Corp. New customer information and guidelines Blue Water Pool & Repair has been serving our customers for over 20 years now. Our service is based on 4 days a month and is performed 50 weeks per year. There is no service Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks. The only days we do not service will be bad weather days. However, if you should have a problem call the office and we will make a special service call. No credit is given for bad weather days. We do service pools on all other major holidays. Any month with 3 or more services is considered a full month service charge. A service record is kept inside your timer box, logging the date and time your service technician was there. If a service record is not signed, please call the office to bring this to our attention. Filter and Filtration: If you need D.E (Diatomaceous earth) for your filter, please inform the office and it will be delivered on your next service day. There is a minimal charge for D.E. Sand filters should run between 14 and 16 hours per day. D.E filters should run between 8-10 hours per day and cartridge filters should run between 10 and 12 hours per day. If you should get algae on the walls and are full service please call the office as this can sometimes happen during algae blooms and it will be addressed immediately. If you have a chemical only account and find algae on the pool walls please brush as soon as possible as the chlorine in the pool will kill the algae. We do highly recommend the D.E filters be broken down annually cleaned and inspected as this will prolong the life of your filter grids. Stabilizer: This chemical assists in keeping your chlorine in the pool. Without using stabilizer your chlorine would be gone in a day or two in most cases. The only way you lose stabilizer is from water loss, i.e.., splashing out, pool leaks or pumping excess water from the pool. Should your pool require stabilizer, it will be charged to your account at 3.25 per lb. Evaporation accounts for ½ inch per week of water loss. Calcium: Calcium is checked throughout the year. It is recommended that it be kept at 200-400ppm. We add only when needed. We charge 1.75 per pound for calcium. Access: Please provide easy access for you service technician. We ask that children or pets not be in the yard while your pool is being serviced. Credit is not given to pools that we cannot service due to locked gates, dogs in the yard and pool covers that are on. If you use a pool cover please contact the office and let us know so we can make special arrangements for your service. If you live in a gated community and we cannot get access or your pass code will not work, no credit would be given this call. Initial _________ |
Cleaning: We do not brush or vacuum the pool for our weekly chemical customers. This type of cleaning service including empting the pump and skimmer baskets and cleaning filters is provided to our full service customers only. If you are interested in this as an extra service please contact our office for pricing information. Pool Equipment: We are a full service swimming pool licensed contractor in the state of Florida (LIC# CPC 056814). We offer a full line of equipment and hire only the best repair technicians. We would be glad to assist you in any type of repair on your swimming pool. From complete new systems, automation, pool drains and cleans, stain removal, lights, electrical and electronics. Just give us a call for a free estimate anytime. Your pool technician will keep an eye on your equipment and inform us at the office the next morning after servicing your pool of problems. We will then contact you and let you know what needs to be done to correct the problem. Repairs: We do repairs of all kinds. We have an expert repair department with an electronics / electrical specialist on staff. Billing: We do bill in advance and payment is due on the 1st of the month. The closing date is the 14th of the month. Any payment received after that date is considered late and a late charge is automatically added. Free Month's Service: Recommend our service to a friend or neighbor and get one month of free service after referral has been with us for 3 months. NSF Check: We charge $30.00 for any returned check. Attorney's Fees: In the event your account is past due and legal action has become necessary for collection, all court costs and attorney's fees will be assessed against you. This is a binding agreement. Please be prompt with payment to avoid and legal action. We take great pride in providing the finest water treatment and repair service available anywhere.
