Blue Water Pool & Repair Corp. |
Important Information |
When hiring a quality "contractor" or "repairman" it is important for you to know that just because a person calls themselves a "contractor" doesn't mean they actually are. Florida contracting laws dictates that a contractor is someone licensed by the state and are the only home improvement contractors that can perform specific work. Ask for their State Contractor License Number. Blue Water Pool & Repair Corp is # CPC056814 "Unlicensed contractors pose a risk to your financial security.. expose you to significant financial harm in the event of injury or property damage." - Contractor State License Board This license ensures that a person is experienced and legally binds them to laws of business conduct. This protects you, the consumer, from fraud and unscrupulous "contractors". Of course, even licensed contractors can perform poorly, even unsafe repairs, but it is the first step in protecting yourself from inexperienced or fraudulent businesses. "If a worker is injured working on your property and the contractor doesn't have [worker's compensation], you could be asked to pay for injuries and rehabilitation through your homeowner's insurance policy." - Contractor State License Board Most unlicensed contractors do NOT have worker's compensation insurance. This leaves you open to lawsuits if one of their workers is hurt on your property. This does happen, don't let it happen to you. |
Always ask for Florida State license & insurance |
